Temperzone recently held a hugely successful Training and Sales Conference Day in Townsville and is planning more for all the major capital cities in Australia in 2017. While the Training Room in Sydney is also available for hands on training and has become an invaluable part of our training program, Temperzone understands that not everyone can take the time off to come to Sydney - so we are coming to you.
On the 8th November Townsville, held its first training and sales conference for some time. Mark Howcroft flew up from Sydney to join Shane McBride, Sean Heart and William McBride from Brisbane along with Northern Air’s Paul Stevenson, Tennyson Elliott and Michael Parker-Walshe.
The fact that so many attended with many travelling major distances, shows that the training is both needed and valued. According to Northern Air’s Michael Parker-Walshe, “we had 7 consultants from 5 consultancies, 47 senior refrigeration technicians from 29 contractors and 42 managers/directors attend the sales conference. All in attendance were from the North Queensland region including Townsville, Cairns, Bowen & Mackay. We would like to give a special mention to Brett Smithurst and Nicholas Hogan who attended from BNS refrigeration who are based in Mt Isa.”
“Mark Howcroft kicked off proceedings for the day with the service training session. This consisted of presentations on the UC6, UC7, UC8, IUC, SAT3 & TZT-100 set up and fault finding. Mark also ran a presentation on the new Wireless service tool which was well received and well demonstrated to all in attendance. The latest version of the Temperzone Service Manual was available to everyone who came. Click here to view your copy. A huge thank you to Sean Heart and William McBride for assisting Mark throughout the presentation.” (Sean and William run the Brisbane Customer Care Service – for more information click this link.)
According to Temperzone’ National Service Manager Mark Howcroft, “this first session was designed to reduce the impact on a day’s work during this busy time of the year. The session began at 6:45 am and ran until 9.30 am giving the guys the opportunity to get to work afterwards.”
Michael continued, “After a bite to eat for morning tea it was the Managers and Directors turn along with several consultants. Queensland Branch Manager Shane McBride did a wonderful job presenting slides and interacting with the attendees whilst going over the following topics Hitachi Hi Wall Splits/ Multi/ Ducted/ Cassettes/ VRF/ Chillers and Hitachi Chiller/ RTP application.
“By this time, it was time for lunch allowing all in attendance to mingle and speak with Mark, Shane, Sean and Will about topics that had been covered thus far.
Shane was at it again after lunch taking an in depth look through our Temperzone range, but more importantly focussing on selecting the right unit for the conditions in North Queensland. He also covered the R22 phase out and management. All who attended, particularly the consultants, were extremely impressed with the presentation which was made on out OPA ECO series, which has been immensely over the past couple of weeks with several follow ups and enquiries.
Northern Air’s Paul Stevenson added, “We here at Northern Air Conditioning would like to thank all involved which made this day possible, a special thanks to Mark, Shane, Sean and William for attending and presenting as well as the Brothers Leagues club in Townsville for hosting the event. We have had nothing but positive feedback since the event and hope we can host another in the not too distant future.”
While Mark was in Townsville, he also officially opened Northern Airs spare parts division “Northern Air Spares” which will reduce the time it takes locals to receive the spare parts they need.
